POLDI home

POLDI (Pulse OverLap DIffractmeter) is a time-of-flight neutron diffractometer managed by the group Materials Science and Simulation. The main applications of POLDI are:
  • Spatially resolved measurements of residual stresses (strain mapping)
  • Study of deformation mechanisms in engineering materials
